A sequel to the popular romantic mermaid drama which starred Darryl Hannah and Tom Hanks. Allen becomes bored on the deserted island on which he and Madison are currently living, and using a special power, Madison shows him exactly what's going on in his brother, Freddie's life. Through this, the couple realise that Allen's business is in trouble and return to New York - maybe contradicting the original, but Madison will only go "as long as I can soak my legs in Salty Water at the full moon". While there, they move into a new home (which has a pool in the back yard !), and Madison meets a new friend - Fern Hooten who might and might not know her secret. We are never told. While there, Madison sets herself a goal to save her Dolphin friend (Salty) who is in captivity, and while saving the business and the dolphin, she and Allen grow closer and re-kindle their love.

Eddie and Lou are a couple of two-bit con men on the lam from a loan shark. They hide out in someone's house and they hear on the answering machine that (A) the owner of the house is out of the country for a month or two and (B) the housesitter supposed to watch the house for the absent owner won't be able to watch the house due to a new job in another part of the country. This provides for a pretty nifty arrangement for Eddie and Lou...until the relatives of the house owner drop by to visit. Eddie quickly adopts the guise of the person supposedly housesitting for the owner, and the shenanigans start from there.

When Leo accompanies his wife Fay, his daughter Anna, and his son Siggy to a peaceful New Hampshire lakeside cottage for a month-long vacation, Leo thinks he's been freed from Bob. Leo expects to mesmerize his family with his prowess as a brilliant husband and remarkable father who knows all there is to know about instructing his wife and raising his kids...

Dorsey loses himself in this woman role and essentially becomes Dorothy Michaels, captivating women all around the city and inspiring them to break free from the control of men and become more like Dorsey's initial identity. This newfound role, however, lands Dorsey in a hot spot between a female friend/'lover,' a female co-star he falls in love with, that co-star's father who falls in love with him, and a male co-star who yearns for his affection.

In colorful, bustling modern-day Manhattan, Rafi Gardet, a beautiful 37-year-old photography producer reeling from a recent divorce, meets David Bloomberg, a handsome 23-year-old painter recently out of college. A Jewish hip-hop lover and closet painter who still lives with his grandparents, David has little in common with Rafi--a non-practicing Catholic from a wealthy, broken family who travels in the sophisticated, high-end world of fashion.
